A: Acupuncture, for the most part, is painless. You may feel certain points more than others, depending on how acute or chronic your condition is. Your individual sensitivity level will also play a part in how much sensation you feel during a treatment. 

Q: Does acupuncture work?

A: Evidence based medicine has proven that acupuncture treats many symptoms and diseases. We now have decades of randomized controlled trials, the gold standard in medical research, supporting the use of acupuncture for many health conditions. Jacqueline will be more than happy to provide you with some of this research upon request.

Q: How many treatments will I need to see improvements?

A: The number of treatments you will need depends on your condition and your overall level of health. Jacqueline will go over this with you during your consultation. You can schedule a free consultation by appointment only. 

Q: Does insurance cover acupuncture?

A: You may have medical coverage under your health insurance carrier. We are not in-network with any insurance provider, however, we do accept out of network coverage with copayments in place. We will be more than happy to help with the process.
